Joseph "Joe" Santagato (born February 25, 1992) is an American entertainer and comedian from Astoria, New York.

Early life
Santagato was born in Queens, New York and raised with his older siblings Thomas, Shannon, and Keith. His mother, Elizabeth Santagato, was a school secretary at a public school, and his father, Alton, was a firefighter in the FDNY, who retired when Santagato was six. He attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School for kindergarten, public school for elementary school, and Louis Armstrong Middle School. He then went to St. Francis Preparatory School for high school, where he was a receiver on the high school football team. From a young age, he enjoyed sports and being in front of a camera. In 2010, one of Santagato's friends suggested that he start posting videos on YouTube. In early 2013, the digital journalism platform Narratively published feature about him and his family titled "The Kardashians of Queens".

Career
Before pursuing YouTube full-time, Santagato worked as a producer and editor for American online news platform Elite Daily. In 2016, he hosted The Rock's YouTube show titled Rock The Promo.

Santagato's first YouTube channel was SantagatoTV. In May 2014, he moved to his current "Joe Santagato" channel. He also has a channel titled "Extra Joe" which contains daily vlogs, and a sports channel titled "Veterans Minimum". Additionally, he has multiple podcasts on a station called "The Basement Yard", and formerly had a Vine account.
Personal Life
Joe Santagato is close to his three siblings, Thomas, Shannon, and Keith; who have frequently appear in his videos and podcasts, as have his parents. He was also raised Roman Catholic, and attended Mass frequently during his childhood, and still attends during holidays. His confirmation name is Nicholas. He has stated his family's favourite musician is Billy Joel.
Since 2015, Santagato has been dating former Instagram model Samantha "Sammy" Rickey. He also is a fan of New York sports teams, such as New York Rangers and New York Giants, he also played football in high school.
Influences
Santagato has stated comedians like George Carlin, Richard Pryor, and Robin Williams, among others, has his major comedic influences. He has stated he is interested in starting stand-up comedy, and has co-written the screenplay for a Netflix comedy series, along with Frankie Alvarez. The series has not been announced yet.
Products
Santagato helped to create the Hasbro board game Speak Out in which players must recite phrases while a dental retractor is placed in their mouths. The game was released in August 2016 and was based off his video "Watch Ya' Mouth". Santagato worked with Hasbro to help promote the game on their social media. Hasbro has also released Speak Out: Joe Santagato Edition, which was written by Santagato, and is more explicit than the original version. Speak Out has been played several times on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with various celebrities, including Khloé Kardashian, Kevin Hart, Jimmy Fallon, and Chris Pratt.
In October 2017, Santagato announced that he had collaborated with two coworkers from his former workplace, Elite Daily, to introduce a new telecommunications company called Wing. The company uses Sprint Corporation's cellular towers and offers tiered and unlimited data options for consumers. Customers are reimbursed for data that is not used from their selected plan during their billing cycle. Taxes are listed as "five to ten percent" of a customer's bill, based on location.
Santagato is also a promoter of Hasbro's Hearing Things board game, where headphones are placed on one player's ears, and another player recites phrases while the first player guesses the phrase based on lip movement.
